About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate complex furniture installation projects from start to finish
  • Ensure compliance with Government requirements while maintaining efficiency and quality standards
  • Support awarded CONUS and OCONUS BPA Call Orders
  • Lead and manage installation projects and subcontractors
  • Serve as liaison between Government representatives and contractors
  • Oversee communication, planning, specification checks, scheduling, meetings, quality control, and compliance
  • Create and maintain agendas, meeting minutes, schedules, inventories, trackers, and other records on the Government Share site
  • Assist with installation project phasing and process recommendations
  • Assist with clearing individuals and arranging escorts for visitors and installers at government locations
  • Attend site visits and walkthroughs
  • Coordinate final project punch-list walkthroughs with the furniture vendor and Government COR
  • Perform quality control activities and assist with red-lines, as-built drawings, meetings, record keeping, and required documentation
  • Manage and coordinate the Service Central furniture ticket process for repairs, reconfigurations, seating, and signage requests
  • Supervise Furniture Installation Subcontractors and Dealership Project Managers
  • Ensure subcontractors deliver complete installation packages meeting OSHA and Government standards
  • Coordinate installation plans with construction project managers, including electrical and IT layouts, to maximize efficiency, functionality, and security compliance
  • Perform minor furniture installations, heavy lifting and/or moving of product, product un-boxing, and inventory and storage tasks

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active TS/SCI with a CI Poly (preferably from this client)
  • 5+ years of experience as a furniture installer or project manager for projects of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • Knowledge of manufacturer’s furniture products utilized under the contract
  • Systems furniture knowledge, including typical parts and pieces for building workstations
  • Proven ability to negotiate, resolve issues, and implement quick solutions
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and floorplans
  • Willingness to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations
  • Knowledge of ARCHIBUS, AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) desired
  • Experience developing project plans and technical documentation desired
