About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support an IC customer through the entire Systems Engineering life cycle
- Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand mission needs
- Develop Concept of Operations documents
- Capture and document User, Functional, and Technical requirements
- Perform analysis and allocation of requirements to systems and segments
- Provide project management support
- Develop project plans
- Support integration and testing
- Define initial solutions
- Drive projects to completion
- Plan and participate in characterization testing of RF systems
- Coordinate and participate in technical exchange meetings (TEMs)
- Identify technical, CI, and operational risks and recommend mitigations
- Create briefings to support Control Gates
- Assist the customer in making informed decisions related to requirements and developments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
- Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA
- Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA
- Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.
- An additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer providing the listed services
- Strong written, communications and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prepare and brief complex technical and non-technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience with RF communication systems, technologies, and concepts
- Self-starter who takes initiative in managing complex technical developments
- Ability and willingness to work on multiple fast-paced projects
- Willingness and ability to learn organizational activities and focus
- Comfort working in a dynamic team environment
