About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define, analyze, document, and manage technical requirements supporting Sponsor development activities
  • Develop actionable, measurable, testable, and traceable requirements
  • Support program management processes covering requirements, resources, schedules, configuration management, and risk management
  • Develop and maintain project plans supporting technical development and mission objectives
  • Coordinate technical requirements with stakeholders and communicate potential issues across technical teams
  • Evaluate Sponsor-developed capabilities for mission integrity, performance, and reliability
  • Identify technical risks and recommend improvements to system functionality
  • Conduct independent technical assessments of projects and capabilities
  • Identify and communicate technical issues early in the development lifecycle
  • Forecast technologies and products that could advance the Sponsor’s mission area
  • Support configuration and risk management throughout capability development
  • Collaborate with Test Teams to characterize and validate newly developed capabilities
  • Develop ad hoc test cases to evaluate Sponsor-developed capabilities
  • Work with targeting personnel to identify emerging opportunities enabling technical operations
  • Support transition of research concepts into operationally relevant, mission-ready capabilities
  • Develop and maintain technical and project documentation using Microsoft Office applications
