About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate planning, engineering, logistics, implementation, and deployment of a new enterprise-level IT platform and associated network services
- Develop, coordinate, and execute technical implementation plans across Sponsor organizations, mission partners, vendors, and program elements
- Identify, document, and track dependencies, requirements, decisions, and action items across multiple stakeholders
- Define and document technical requirements addressing stakeholder and operational needs
- Develop and maintain project plans and schedules across multiple project lifecycle stages
- Monitor cost, schedule, performance, and project risk using established project management processes
- Identify variances and implement corrective actions
- Develop, maintain, and oversee technical and project documentation
- Participate in resource planning and develop cost-estimating strategies for future projects
- Evaluate project issues and adapt plans based on changes to cost, schedule, quality, requirements, or performance
- Coordinate with stakeholders to navigate organizational policies, procedures, and technical requirements
- Provide regular project status, requirements, timelines, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders and management
- Build partnerships across organizational boundaries to support operational and mission requirements
- Maintain current technical knowledge and communicate technical and programmatic information to diverse audiences
- Support an Intelligence Community client and its mission partners in Chantilly, Virginia
- Travel infrequently within CONUS as needed, as directed by the client
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active TS/SCI with FSP clearance required
- Bachelor's degree related to the technical discipline and at least 6 years of relevant experience; OR Associate's degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience; OR no degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience
- Experience performing technical project coordination or management, including achieving program milestones and resolving project issues
- Experience supporting IT system development and implementation
- Experience developing and coordinating technical requirements, implementation plans, schedules, and project documentation
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent project requirements while monitoring cost, schedule, and performance
- Experience briefing stakeholders and varying levels of management on technical requirements, project status, and timelines
- Strong stakeholder-management, negotiation, and coordination skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Willingness and ability to travel infrequently on an as-needed basis, primarily CONUS
- Desired: experience supporting mission systems
- Desired: experience deploying technical systems into operational environments
- Desired: experience with non-traditional procurement and establishing clandestine communications solutions
- Desired: experience with standard Agency IT procurement processes, including DVV
- Desired: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
