About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and manage the REST API stack for Maropost web applications
Design and prototype architectures aligned with big data, analytics, and cloud-native product strategy
Design scalable, performance-driven solutions
Develop and architect the search and merchandising-as-a-service product
Work on GoLang microservices for product configuration and platform integrations
Drive innovation in engineering processes, tools, and technologies
Govern architecture and design for systems and products within scope
Conduct code and design reviews
Provide technical leadership and ensure industry-standard engineering practices
Evaluate and improve software development tools and frameworks
Collaborate in an empowered product team using shared specifications, decision-making, and two-week sprints

Requirements

What you’ll need

B.E/B.Tech from top-ranked colleges
3+ years of experience building, designing, and architecting backend applications, web apps, and analytics, preferably in commerce cloud or marketing automation
Experience deploying applications at scale in production systems
Experience with platform security capabilities, including TLS and SSL
Experience building and managing API endpoints for multimodal clients
3+ years of hands-on experience with GoLang
Advanced HLD, LLD, and Design Patterns knowledge
Knowledge of open-source databases and caching: Redis, Memcache, MySQL
Experience managing cloud infrastructure with basic GCP or AWS services, including VMs, Kubernetes clusters, and load balancers
Knowledge of open-source WAF tools and firewalls: Fail2ban, ModSecurity, Coraza
Knowledge of frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React JS, Vue JS
Experience with version control and CI/CD: Git, Jenkins, Argo CD, Spinnaker, Terraform
Enthusiasm to learn and contribute to a challenging startup
Problem-solving ability and efficient coding practices
