About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead Marsello’s brand and market position
- Define the company’s target audience, loyalty point of view and consistent messaging across website, product, sales and customer success
- Own lead volume and pipeline from Marsello’s channels
- Set the vision for a new loyalty marketing product
- Translate enterprise-grade loyalty sophistication into simple tools for small and medium-sized businesses
- Collaborate with the Product team to develop the product and make it a growth engine
- Build and lead a team of six direct reports across Product and Marketing
- Set team standards, direction and coaching
- Shape how Product, Marketing, Customer Success and Sales approach customer loyalty
- Represent Marsello externally with customers, partners and the wider loyalty community
- Participate as a member of the executive team
Requirements
What you’ll need- First-hand experience designing, leading or working closely with a sophisticated loyalty programme
- Track record of owning a brand or proposition, ideally through a repositioning
- Experience building or leading a product from concept to market
- Genuine people leadership and team-building experience
- Commercial judgement connecting loyalty work to growth
- Interest in helping small and medium-sized businesses succeed
- Wellington based; although currently remote, the majority of the team are based in Wellington and the role requires collaboration with ease
