Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years’ experience in commercial Property & Casualty insurance at an agency or related company, preferably in an Account Manager position or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively service customers
  • Self-starter; highly organized problem solver with good time management skills to meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to interpret complex documents, such as insurance policies with multiple coverages, detailed applications and proposals
  • Experience reviewing and presenting renewal proposals to clients
  • Computer proficiency with Excel Spreadsheets, Word Documents, and navigating Agency Management Systems
  • Experience managing the full marketing process and negotiating contracts
  • Ability to work on a fast paced, high volume, and high-energy team while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Property & Casualty license preferred, or the ability to obtain upon hire
  • BS/BA in Business, Insurance or related field preferred
  • CPCU, CLCS, ARM, CISR or other professional insurance designation related to Property & Casualty preferred
  • Experience working with Applied Epic, agency management system preferred
  • Available to travel for client meetings, as needed
