About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support consultants and actuaries in analyzing business problems using data, research, and structured problem-solving
- Conduct industry and market research to inform client recommendations
- Assist in developing presentations, financial analyses, exhibits, analytical summaries, and other client deliverables
- Collaborate with project teams, consultants, and actuaries to support engagement execution and client service
- Support actuarial analyses related to pricing, forecasting, financial performance, valuation, reserving, loss forecasting, and risk financing
- Work with healthcare datasets to identify trends and develop insights
- Assist with actuarial modeling, assumption reviews, sensitivity testing, benchmarking, and business intelligence initiatives
- Participate in actuarial bootcamp presentations, case studies, and mentorship sessions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Class of 2028 or 2029
- Currently pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or another STEM or business-related field
- Minimum GPA of 3.5 for the ICG role
- Interest in the CAS, SOA, or CFA track; corresponding SOA or CAS track for actuarial roles
- Strong interest in strategy consulting and actuarial applications for ICG
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative mindset with ability to work independently
- Technical skills: Excel; familiarity with R, Python, SQL, SAS, or VBA
- Permanent, unrestricted U.S. work authorization required
- Visa sponsorship is not available; CPT and OPT are considered restricted forms of work authorization
