About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support complex, high-priority accounts and help drive client satisfaction, retention, and growth
  • Work closely with account teams and client counterparts to align client needs with Marsh’s capabilities and resources
  • Coordinate initiatives and prepare client-facing materials
  • Conduct research and analysis
  • Support proposal development
  • Help expand the mix of Marsh products and services held by clients
  • Serve as project manager for account teams on large initiatives and complex accounts
  • Implement action plans, monitor progress, and help ensure service delivery meets or exceeds client expectations
  • Draft white papers, presentations, approaches, and quantitative financial analyses
  • Research markets, industries, and growth areas to identify trends, opportunities, and resources for expansion
  • Conduct and refine data analyses for proposal development and client presentations
  • Address escalated issues and concerns, manage expectations, and mitigate relationship risks
  • Provide technical and transactional support for complex or high-priority relationships
  • Develop strong relationships with professional counterparts at client organizations
  • Support account teams with strategic initiatives, changing priorities, and other high-value work
  • Apply a systems-thinking approach across client needs, operational processes, service delivery, and internal resources

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years of experience in client relationship management, account management, consulting, brokerage, insurance, or a related professional services environment
  • Strong project management and coordination skills
  • Strong analytical skills, including conducting research and refining data into clear, useful insights
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build credibility with clients and internal partners
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate across teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted working relationships and support complex account activity
  • Customer-centric mindset with a strong commitment to service excellence
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond quickly to changing scope and priorities
