About the role

  • Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Gather and document requirements and define project timelines
  • Develop test scenarios and scripts and support feature releases, security, and UAT
  • Mentor and coach team members
  • Drive operational excellence and transformational projects
  • Lead Workday implementation projects from planning through execution
  • Develop strategies to maximize Workday platform usage
  • Plan, execute, and monitor Workday implementation, upgrade, and optimization projects
  • Manage and mentor Workday analysts, consultants, and developers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience managing complex projects involving Workday implementations, upgrades, and process improvements
  • Ability to conduct workshop sessions independently and handle customer queries
  • Experience configuring and customizing Workday Absence and Time Tracking modules
  • Ability to coordinate deliverables with other consultants
  • Experience leading or participating in Workday implementation projects from planning to execution
  • Experience gathering and documenting requirements, assessing complexity and level-of-effort estimates, prioritizing capacity, and defining timelines
  • Ability to identify test scenarios, develop test scripts, and support Workday feature releases, security, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Ability to work across multiple time zones and teams
  • Workday Absence and Time Tracking certification required
  • Total 12+ years of experience, including 7 years in Workday
  • BE/B.Tech/MCA/BSc
  • Extensive client-facing consulting experience driving implementation projects
  • Experience developing and implementing Workday platform strategies
  • Experience leading Workday implementation, upgrade, and optimization projects
  • Experience managing Workday professionals, including analysts, consultants, and developers
  • Knowledge of Absence and Time Tracking requirements definition and solution design
  • Ability to handle Payroll Parallel queries related to Absence and Time Tracking
  • Experience with application testing, production support, and production rollout
  • Ability to manage stakeholder needs, expectations, and issue resolution
  • Ability to communicate effectively with mid- and senior-level management
  • Experience developing and managing stakeholder communication plans
  • Experience with Workday Project Lifecycle
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams
  • Extensive experience with Workday Absence and Time Tracking, Reporting, and Data Conversion
  • Strong knowledge of Workday Advanced Reports, Composite Reports, and Dashboards
