About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage execution of individual project workstreams or projects
- Plan and coordinate projects and workstreams
- Develop hypotheses
- Manage data collection, model creation, and analyses
- Conduct primary and secondary research
- Tackle information limitations creatively and surface insights
- Synthesize findings into written presentations
- Review and discuss findings with clients and stakeholders
- Lead client readouts of written presentations and deliverables
- Support Partners in project delivery through accurate, high-quality execution
- Manage and develop junior consultants
- Allocate tasks according to skill sets
- Review and iterate outputs and deliverables
- Provide constructive feedback and mentoring in consulting skills, insurance industry content, and related topics
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4–7 years of relevant experience, ideally with a top-tier strategy consulting firm or similar project-based, team-oriented organization
- Experience with insurance-related topics, including organizational design, strategic planning, product design, distribution, underwriting, policy or claims administration, claims, risk and capital management, pensions, or reinsurance
- Track record of leading and managing teams and delivering against tight deadlines in fast-paced, demanding environments
- Strong background in strategic problem solving with demonstrable analytical skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program
- Willingness to travel
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization required for U.S. office locations
- CPT and OPT are restricted forms of work authorization and are not accepted for this position
