Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage basic-to-moderately complex quantitative analysis projects with input from senior project team members
  • Calculate risk exposure and potential loss from natural and man-made catastrophes
  • Perform analyses using existing catastrophe risk models
  • Evaluate resulting datasets to calculate client risk exposure
  • Gather, organize, and review raw client exposure data
  • Prepare summaries, presentations, and reports for client projects
  • Communicate with clients to address concerns and questions
  • Research and summarize industry publications and scientific papers on specific or regional perils

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Quantitative analysis skills
  • Experience or ability to work with catastrophe risk models
  • Ability to evaluate datasets and calculate risk exposure and potential loss
  • Ability to gather, organize, and review client exposure data for accuracy and validity
  • Ability to identify data abnormalities, including negative premiums, abnormal construction types, and deductible overages
  • Ability to prepare summaries, presentations, and reports
  • Ability to research and summarize industry publications and scientific papers
  • Ability to communicate with clients on basic/routine projects
  • Must work from the local office or onsite with clients at least three days per week
