Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage an assigned client portfolio through timely follow-up, accurate client activity entry, and securing reinsurance premiums
  • Collaborate with departments to support collection efforts and cash application processes
  • Oversee timely settlement of funds to and from clients while complying with payment warranties and conditions
  • Complete assigned tasks accurately according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Provide detailed client-specific accounting and claims information to support sales opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with brokers, clients, and markets
  • Understand client needs and resolve issues effectively
  • Participate in team meetings, share knowledge, and contribute to team outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in excess of loss reinsurance and accounting
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or risk management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage workload effectively
  • Demonstrated teamwork skills with a positive attitude
  • Proactive in offering and implementing process improvement ideas
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • (Re)Insurance and claims experience is a standout qualification
