About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and support critical back-end operational functions regionally
  • Oversee outsourcing teams, reroute assigned tasks, monitor utilization and capacity, and lead weekly alignment meetings
  • Maintain and administer agency management systems
  • Execute key finance-related operational processes and support operations leaders
  • Educate field colleagues on outsourcing processes
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for operational questions
  • Support special operational initiatives
  • Address challenges involving finance, systems, outsourcing, reporting, and technology
  • Work independently, solve unfamiliar problems, meet deadlines, and ensure thorough follow-through

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 3 years previous insurance agency/brokerage experience in employee benefits required
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills required
  • Advanced knowledge of agency operational procedures and the agency management system required
  • Ability to effectively work in teams
  • Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects/priorities
  • Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future
  • L&H license or ability to obtain within 90 days and/or equivalent job experience is a plus, but not required
  • Experience with Applied Epic, BenefitPoint, Sagitta, Smartsheet, and M365 is a plus, but not required
