About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage daily accounting functions for a portfolio of insurance entities, captives, and reinsurance pools
  • Provide financial monitoring and control
  • Ensure regulatory compliance
  • Prepare or technically review financial statements under US GAAP, Statutory, or IFRS
  • Efficiently manage all financial aspects of clients
  • Discuss regulatory updates with clients
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, client teams, service providers, regulators, and colleagues
  • Manage financial audit processes with auditors and adhere to client deadlines and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Perform and execute reviews of financial statements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • An internationally recognized professional accounting designation, such as CA, ACCA, ACA or CPA
  • Experience building relationships internally or externally with customers in an Account Management and/or Client Services focused role
  • Experience in financial reporting under GAAP or IFRS
  • Experience in the insurance regulatory environment
  • Familiarity with captive policy structures and captive tax issues
  • Ability to lead client meetings
  • Ability to research complex matters independently
  • Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement, with at least three days per week in the local office or onsite with clients
