About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage annual planning timeline and ensure all client deliverables, including Benefit Guides, are prepared on a timely basis
  • Lead, document and complete renewal implementation calls and paperwork with clients
  • Hold carriers accountable for accuracy, timelines, and service expectations
  • Independently produce accurate and timely materials and audit work product to minimize errors
  • Maintain client information on the agency management system
  • Navigate resources and leverage carrier partners to advocate for and solve client problems
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable coverages, carrier guidelines, underwriting and legislative changes
  • Assist clients and teammates with administration, billing, claims issues and problem solving
  • Project manage Employee Navigator or Plan Source plan builds for implementation and/or open enrolment
  • Ensure accuracy of plan rules, rates and updates for electronic file feeds and integrations
  • Counsel clients on compliance deadlines related to Form 5500, COBRA, ACA reporting, Annual Wrap Documents and Notices, Medicare Part D and CMS Disclosure Emails
  • Keep abreast of new products and legislative changes
  • Perform other duties as requested by management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Active and current Florida 2-15 insurance license
  • 2+ years of account management experience within an insurance agency and industry experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Detail oriented with strong time management and client relations skills, including excellent communication and presentation skills with service orientation, cooperative nature, and tactfulness to resolve client and company problems
