About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead banking and financial services consulting projects day to day
- Lead project teams through efficient and effective problem-solving processes
- Develop initial hypotheses using deep industry and functional knowledge
- Drive projects toward practical, relevant, bold and cohesive recommendations
- Provide strategic thought leadership
- Manage project leadership and stakeholder relationships
- Support financial sector leaders, banks, investors, capital markets, insurers, central banks and ministries of finance
- Develop sustainable strategies and cutting-edge policies for clients and governments
- Collaborate with senior executives and regional government leaders
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 6 years of relevant experience, ideally with a top-tier strategy consulting firm (or similar organization)
- In-depth knowledge of the banking and financial services sector
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills
- Ability to conduct and leverage sophisticated analyses to identify trends, draw conclusions and present recommendations
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English and German language is required
- An undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program
- Willingness to travel
- Initiative and willingness to learn new skills
- Creativity and ability to develop novel solutions
- Aptitude for analytical work and interpreting large, complex data sets
- Willingness to work fluidly and respectfully with the team
