About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide day-to-day leadership of client projects and aspects of client relationships and commercial processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years’ experience in strategy consulting preferred; a combination of strategy consulting and Trading Strategy & Risk industry experience will be considered
  • Expert-level practice-specific knowledge in energy & commodities, including oil, gas/LNG, and power; metals or ags a plus
  • Strategic mindset and transformation credentials, including operating models, risk frameworks, or commercial strategy
  • Strong quantitative foundation in derivatives and risk measurement
  • Familiarity with AI/ML applications in trading and risk is a plus
  • Executive presence and client-facing potential
  • Houston strongly preferred; NYC/Chicago candidates considered if open to Houston travel or relocation
  • US-based with existing US work authorization
  • Strong background in strategic problem solving with demonstrable analytical skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Initiative and ability to learn new skills
  • Creativity and ability to develop novel solutions
  • Aptitude for analytical work and interpreting massive data sets
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
