About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join the Dev CoE team within Marsh Technology business
- Work with 2 Business Client Services squads to build requirements for features, PoCs and/or new enterprise applications
- Drive development and execution of products and solutions
- Collaborate with engineering teams, product management and the wider organization
- Define and prioritize the backlog for assigned squads
- Help define product strategy, vision and roadmap
- Work with agile development teams to deliver products and services
- Work with business and technical product managers to define product features and functionality
- Maintain an actionable, prioritized team backlog
- Express requirements as well-written stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Communicate progress, decisions, impediments and risks
- Promote continuous improvement
- Advocate for problems requiring solutions
- Articulate business value of delivered work
- Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies
- Encourage reasonable team commitments for predictability
- Contribute to a strategic R&D technology hub delivering enterprise solutions

Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years working as a business analyst or in product management
- Minimum 2 years of experience working within a Lean-agile software product development method
- Minimum 2 years of defining and documenting product requirements into small, well-articulated and valuable deliverables
- Ability to define and document product requirements into small, well-articulated, and valuable deliverables
- Passion for metrics and driving value
- Ability to articulate the value of the work you will be delivering
- Baseline understanding of technical environment(s)
- Experience with tools and techniques to aid in the breakdown of large chunks of work, elicit requirements or make decisions
- Ability to derive actionable insights from customer usage data
- Comfortable presenting to groups and demoing working software
- Strong communication skills to collaborate and communicate compelling messages to key stakeholders across the business
- Confidence to challenge the norm
- Ability to develop and sustain relationships with key stakeholders, peers and engineering teams
