About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a portfolio of clients to maintain, strengthen, and expand the client base
- Build and maintain a professional network with peers and stakeholders in relevant industries
- Prepare and deliver pitches and presentations to prospective and existing clients
- Work closely with insurance specialists to perform insurance due diligence for clients and financiers
- Collaborate with insurance specialists to structure and deliver insurance solutions for M&A transactions and other client risk scenarios
- Ensure all insurance placements comply with applicable regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements
- Support the team with other ad hoc projects, analysis, and tasks as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 to 6 years of experience in the M&A field
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and timelines
- Demonstrated interest and commitment to developing in-depth insurance industry expertise
- Willingness to network and build relationships with clients, advisors, and industry peers
- Comfortable presenting and pitching to advisors and clients, both in person and virtually
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to draft reports and prepare clear, professional presentation decks
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues from other departments and specialist teams
- Independent, self-motivated, and self-disciplined
- Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin)
- Ability to travel occasionally as required
