About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and carriers through phone, email, and in-person interactions
  • Develop and execute comprehensive client service plans for assigned accounts
  • Coordinate internal and external activities for new and renewal accounts
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities and recommend new lines of coverage
  • Collaborate with Producers and Marketing Account Executives to oversee the renewal process
  • Coordinate meetings to present renewal proposals and supporting documentation
  • Lead marketing efforts for accounts as needed
  • Prepare and present marketing materials
  • Work with service teams to deliver required forms and documentation
  • Assist clients and internal staff with administration, billing, and claims service questions
  • Maintain detailed records in client management systems
  • Attend seminars and carrier meetings to stay current on products and legislative changes
  • Mentor team members and perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training
  • 7+ years of relevant insurance industry experience
  • Strong client relations skills
  • Excellent communication skills and service orientation
  • Cooperative nature and tactfulness to resolve client and company problems
  • Ability to provide direction, constructive feedback, development and training
  • Ability to motivate others to maximize productivity and team morale
  • Strong understanding of EHB claims data
  • Experience with alternative funding arrangements, pharmacy programs, care management and wellness solutions
  • Knowledgeable in EB Compliance
  • Demonstrated skillset with Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
