About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide thought leadership in curating the target state and developing strategy to deliver results
Partner with global teams to craft detailed plans supporting global strategy
Support planning, tracking and implementation of strategic initiatives and operational projects led by the Global Value Stream Leader
Oversee execution teams comprising project managers, business analysts and product owners/managers
Serve as liaison between the Global Value Stream Leader and senior leadership, department heads and external partners
Prepare presentations, reports and operational summaries for executive decision-making
Identify operational inefficiencies and assist with process improvements
Collect and analyze operational data to monitor performance against goals and provide insights
Collaborate cross-functionally to execute directives and company-wide initiatives
Align with business stakeholders and placement strategy
Coordinate technology deliverables
Align Capex and KPI outcomes with regional value stream leaders and global stakeholders
Support effective change management
Guide weekly reporting and strategic priorities
Drive execution of OPEX/Falcon initiatives and deliver benefits
Shape and embed the operating model to improve client and colleague experience
Shape and deliver transformation initiatives
Embed controls and risk mitigations
Enable governance, metrics tracking and reporting
Manage complexity and navigate matrix structures while ensuring accurate delivery
Lead large, multi-year transformation and change initiatives
Work across Asia Pacific, US and Canada time zones
Communicate effectively across non-English-speaking countries
Navigate complex initiatives within risk management environments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum Graduation
15+ years of experience in operational oversight, strategy and planning, consulting roles in a large global organization
Balanced background across insurance domain knowledge and broader financial services experience
Experience supporting senior executives
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
Proven record of successful delivery of end-to-end transformation, complex and global projects through all stages of the project lifecycle
Experience forming and leading multiple project teams delivering via multiple methodologies
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools such as Teams
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage multiple priorities
Commercial acumen in managing and tracking projects and department financial targets and plans
Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
Adaptability and willingness to take initiative in a fast-paced environment
Ability to combine strategic oversight, stakeholder management, operational discipline and transformation capability in a complex global setting
Expertise in digital, AI and data-led initiatives
Strong transformation and program execution capability, prioritized over pure domain expertise
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across functions
Experience supporting senior executives or C-suite leaders
Familiarity with leading and managing complex multi-year transformation and change initiatives
Experience shaping and managing Digital/AI initiatives
Insurance industry experience is a plus
