About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Utilize Python, SQL, SAS, and other programming languages to interpret and analyze large health care data sets
- Assist in developing client communications, proposals, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations
- Gain understanding of government-sponsored health and welfare programs, including Medicaid and Medicare
- Use AI and technology-enabled tools
- Work in a fast-paced consulting environment to meet client demands and deadlines
- Collaborate with colleagues across organizational levels
- Participate in smaller team-based assignments and larger client and industry projects
- Collaborate with programmers, actuaries, and clinicians on Medicaid consulting projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in related field
- At least 1 year of professional work experience with exposure to programming
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
- Great organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a dynamic team environment with rapidly changing priorities and demands
- Experience with programming languages such as Databricks, Python, SQL, and/or SAS
- Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Creative problem-solving abilities
- Eagerness to drive results and take initiative
