About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a portfolio of insurance schemes with care, accuracy and commercial awareness
- Deliver outstanding service to scheme members and corporate sponsors
- Drive new business and renewal processes, including policy binding, invoicing and distribution of policy documentation
- Prepare quotation and placing slips
- Support pre-renewal and broking meetings with relevant documentation and insights
- Produce renewal reports and insurance manuals as required
- Take ownership of the day-to-day strategic and operational management of industry insurance schemes
Requirements
What you’ll need- A Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance qualification
- 5+ years’ experience in general insurance broking, ideally in a client-facing or advisory role
- Experience in an Group, SME or scheme-based environment - required
- Exposure to client service, underwriting, claims, or broking – also highly regarded
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly with a range of stakeholders
- Genuine willingness to learn, adapt and develop new skills
- Strong capability across the Microsoft suite and broker systems/platforms
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
- Appropriate approval to work in Australia
- Successful applicants must complete a Criminal & Bankruptcy check prior to commencing employment
