About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Undertake valuations for various purposes, both within a team and individually
Maintain valuation data and undertake research to support development of approaches and valuation outputs
Develop internal and external stakeholder relationships
Expand renewal client portfolios and develop new business
Perform ad hoc tasks and initiatives supporting the valuations team and Marsh
Travel locally, nationally and internationally for key client commitments
Support complex valuation of Plant & Equipment
Ensure client deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment
Use multiple databases used for valuation internationally

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years valuation experience
Experience in Plant & Machinery and Real Estate valuation an advantage
Knowledge of valuation for insurance, market value, fair value and other popular requirements
Clear and concise oral and written communication skills
Comfortable and experienced working with technology (solutions)
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools – Outlook, Word and Excel
Strong numerical skills
Excellent organization skills – able to prioritize work and meet deadlines
Excellent interpersonal skills – able to work within a team
Networking skills
Strong problem solving capabilities
Willingness to study and qualify with the required professional valuation bodies
RICS preferred
ASA preferred
IBBI preferred (P&M)
