About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the content manager in developing and refining reusable content for future proposals
Partner with business and client leaders, proposal peers, and subject matter experts to understand client needs and prepare draft responses before active procurements
Translate reusable content into customized, client-relevant messaging
Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to strengthen content with client-specific insights and market context
Support pre-RFP planning, pursuit strategy discussions, content planning, message development, and readiness reviews
Develop content aligned with internal quality standards, brand, style, tone, and industry/client terminology
Adapt prewritten content into compliant and compelling final responses for active proposals when needed
Build relationships with GHC client managers, proposal peers, solution consultants, SMEs, and the content manager to support winning, expanding, and retaining business

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Five plus years of experience in proposal writing, strategic writing, business writing, or related content development
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
Excellent oral and written communication skills and keen attention to detail
Curiosity and eagerness to inspire others, investigate, learn, collaborate, and innovate
Demonstrated ability to work well across departments and teams
Prior Medicaid or governmental proposal development experience
