About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Further develop the Global Benefits Management practice in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
- Lead and develop a growing team in Germany
- Oversee workforce planning, resource allocation, compensation, recruitment, promotions, and employee retention
- Ensure excellent client service, strong client relationships, and sustainable growth
- Support Account Managers and Account Specialists
- Promote employee development and identify talent
- Make personnel, compensation, and expenditure decisions in line with financial objectives
- Drive modern ways of working and the effective use of technology and AI
- Ensure smooth processes and continuously improve them
- Manage the client portfolio in the respective country and develop client retention initiatives
- Serve 2–3 clients as Client Director and further develop the service offering
- Support the European leadership team and work closely with the GBM Sales Team
- Collaborate with Proposition Management and Practice Management to develop efficient solutions
- Support Marsh Multinational’s marketing efforts through participation in client events and market activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- In-depth knowledge of Global Benefits
- Experience managing multinational clients
- Strong consulting and broking expertise
- Proven leadership experience and strong people skills
- Collaborative working style and excellent communication skills
- Positive, energetic personality
- Strong commercial acumen and confident negotiation skills
- Knowledge of benefit administration technologies or the willingness to learn quickly
- Excellent organizational skills and a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to positively influence colleagues and internal stakeholders
