About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handle all move-in, move-out, and renewal inspections
- Manage property renovations and projects
- Onboard occupied and vacant properties
- Create recommended repair lists for new and vacant properties to make them rent-ready
- Assist the Maintenance Coordinator with tenant repair requests
- Screen, hire, fire, and manage vendors performing repairs and renovations
- Communicate with landlords on major renovations or repairs
- Negotiate vendor quotes and invoices to achieve competitive pricing
- Maintain the vendor list and obtain necessary documentation
- Perform inspections at properties across Los Angeles and surrounding areas
- Coordinate maintenance repairs and oversee large renovations
- Hold vendors accountable and protect landlords' investments
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years' residential property management experience
- General knowledge of maintenance and residential home repairs
- Confident written and verbal communication skills
- Negotiation skills
- Experience with property management software
- Experience managing home renovations and projects
- Vendor management experience
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred as a differentiator
- AppFolio experience
- Experience with CRM software; SuiteCRM is a huge plus
