About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Senior Civil Lead Engineer and the Design & Engineering team
  • Provide design and technical support for Marshalls Civils & Drainage product ranges
  • Focus primarily on structural product lines, bespoke water management products and the Redi-Rock retaining wall system
  • Produce drawings and calculations to a high standard
  • Provide engineering support
  • Ensure compliance with Marshalls and wider industry processes and standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience working within a civil / structural design and technical environment (consultancy, design & build contractor or building products design & manufacturer)
  • Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Construction related qualifications (degree qualified is preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Eurocode 2 design, EN 1992 Part 1-1
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Solidworks and Structural Engineering Software; SCIA experience would be ideal
  • Ability to communicate and build relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility to adapt and respond to change
  • Proven ability to motivate yourself to meet project deadlines
