About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide CAD design and technical support for Marshalls Civils & Drainage product ranges
  • Primarily focus on Water Management products and solutions
  • Support work involving linear drainage, sealed manholes and specialist products designed and manufactured to customer requirements
  • Produce CAD drawings, calculations and bills of materials
  • Provide engineering support to a high standard
  • Ensure compliance with Marshalls and wider industry processes and standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Qualified to Level 3 (or equivalent) in a civil engineering related subject
  • Experience of working in a design and technical environment (consultancy, D&B contractor, or a building products design & manufacture business)
  • Ability to work within industry design standards and codes
  • Experienced in material take-offs and drawing / specification reviews
  • Proficient in the use of 2D AutoCAD and / or Solidworks to produce digital models
  • Previous experience in the detailing of pre-cast concrete products and structures would be a distinct advantage
  • Ability to communicate and build relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Be able to demonstrate flexibility to adapt and respond to change
  • Proven ability to motivate yourself to meet project deadlines
