About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and support SQL Server stored procedures, tables, views, indexes, and SSIS packages
Design, migrate, and optimize data pipelines within Azure Data Factory and Databricks
Re-engineer SQL-based business logic into Databricks
Participate in planning and execution of the on-premises-to-cloud migration, including testing, output alignment, and final cutover
Implement monitoring, data quality checks, and performance optimization
Support analysts, architects, and application teams with data extraction, transformation, and integration needs
Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline, SQL, and cloud-platform issues
Produce technical documentation and contribute to engineering standards
Demonstrate the organization’s mission, vision, and core values

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in SQL development and enterprise ETL engineering
Strong proficiency in SQL Server and SSIS
Hands-on experience with Azure cloud data services and Databricks
Experience with data modeling, distributed compute, and pipeline orchestration
Healthcare industry experience preferred
Must verify U.S. citizenship
Must complete required employment eligibility verification upon hire
