About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the performance, governance and stewardship of Mary's Meals programmes globally
  • Ensure programme delivery aligns with organisational priorities and quality standards
  • Lead and support the Programme Management team, Country Directors and programme partners
  • Oversee programme planning, budgeting, resource allocation and risk management
  • Coordinate between Programmes and other organisational functions
  • Oversee grants, reporting and impact requirements
  • Ensure donor stewardship, accountability and organisational learning
  • Champion programme data, reporting and performance management
  • Lead cross-cutting programme initiatives, organisational change projects and programme transformation activities
  • Build and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders
  • Represent Mary's Meals at a senior level when required
  • Shape organisational strategy and lead major programme initiatives supporting future growth and impact

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Significant experience in international development
  • Proven track record leading programme management and delivery across complex international programmes or multi-country portfolios
  • Substantial experience in programme planning, budgeting, risk management, performance oversight and grant-funded programmes
  • Strong understanding of governance, safeguarding and compliance
  • Experience using programme data, insight and learning to improve performance and inform decision-making
  • Experience developing high-performing, multicultural teams
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Ability to work with senior leaders, country teams and external partners
  • Willingness to undertake travel to countries where programmes operate
  • Required to register with the Protected Vulnerable Group Scheme or local equivalent before undertaking the role
  • CV and short covering note of no more than one page
