About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured Python code, leveraging AI coding agents while owning the final solution
- Contribute technically to the product and identify ways to improve it
- Write documentation for delivered code

- Collaborate with the team to translate business complexity, user stories, and tasks into solutions, results, and estimations

- Collaborate with US clients across FinTech, SportsTech, MedTech, and other industries
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 6 months of commercial experience with Python
- Understanding of Python 3.10+ fundamentals, type hints, OOP principles, common data structures, and clean, readable, maintainable code
- Basic experience with Django, including models, views, ORM, and migrations; worked on at least one Django project
- Familiarity with building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Understanding of OOP, good practices, data structures, SOLID, DRY, and design patterns
- Ability to use AI coding tools, preferably Claude Code, while independently writing code and understanding its consequences
- Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL; ability to write basic SQL queries and use them alongside Django ORM
- Experience with Git
- English level B2
- Polish level C1
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum is nice to have
- Experience with Django REST Framework, FastAPI, or Flask is nice to have
- Familiarity with Django Admin is nice to have
- Experience with automated testing such as pytest is nice to have
- Experience with Celery, Redis, payment or billing providers, email platforms, AWS, serverless, or Docker is nice to have
