About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate within small teams to help major brands answer and implement solutions for challenging strategic questions
- Take ownership of deliverables and build external client relationships
- Work with technology and data across industries including financial services, retail, restaurants, and hospitality
- Business Experimentation: use Test & Learn® and SQL to run data-backed experiments; provide insights; partner with clients on implementation decisions
- Strategy & Transformation: guide clients through strategic, tactical, operational, and transformational challenges
- Performance Analytics: use business intelligence platforms, SQL, Python, and other enterprise applications to investigate trends, build propensity models, develop visualizations, and synthesize data into recommendations
- Engage with client stakeholders through virtual and in-person meetings
- Marketing: develop strategies, lead marketing campaign implementation, evaluate results, and apply customer, behavioral, and transactional data to client engagements
- Work across tracks to develop diverse skills and experiences
- Abide by Mastercard security policies and practices
- Ensure confidentiality and integrity of accessed information
- Report suspected security violations or breaches
- Complete mandatory security trainings
Requirements
What you’ll need- Undergraduate or master’s degree with an expected graduation date between Dec 2026-July 2027
- Eligible to work in the United States now and in the future without employer sponsorship
- Students or recent graduates in the United States on an F1 visa, including CPT or OPT authorization, are not eligible
- Passion, responsibility, and pride in delivering high-quality results and recommendations
- Proven record of leadership in a work setting and/or through extracurricular activities
- Strong aptitude for structured problem solving and analytical and quantitative skills
- Experience using data analysis or querying tools such as SQL, SAS, Excel, or Tableau is an asset, particularly for Performance Analytics or Business Experimentation tracks
- Clear interest in business and intuition for how companies make decisions
- Eagerness to learn quickly
- Willingness to work within small teams
- Outstanding record of academic achievement
- Commitment to Mastercard’s values of honesty and integrity
- Unique skillset or approach to client engagements or internal activities
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
