About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Understand the design and implementation of automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or Artifactory
- Collaborate with development teams to improve the development experience
- Understand and incorporate security, compliance, and quality gates into deployment pipelines
- Build initial infrastructure as code, drive automated configurations, and maintain them
- Learn the environment and provide basic support for troubleshooting CI/CD pipeline issues
- Evaluate, build, and automate solutions focused on release stability and readiness
Requirements
What you’ll need- 0-3+ years hands-on DevOps experience working on complex cloud-based CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Spinnaker)
- 1-3+ years of experience with AWS or GoogleCloud
- 0-3+ years of experience with Kubernetes (EKS, ArgoCD, Istio)
- 1-3+ years of experience managing cloud infrastructure as code using Terraform, Terragrunt, Atlantis, or similar
- Entry-level proficiency in at least one of: Java, Ruby, Golang, Python, or Groovy
- Interpersonal and communication skills, capable of communicating and collaborating clearly
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Position intended for students of Northeastern University as part of the Co-op Program, but all applications may be considered
