About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Implement features and ensure they meet rigorous quality standards for medical software
Participate in technical discussions and bring new ideas
Design, implement, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software components and services
Own code quality through unit tests, TDD, and other testing methodologies
Work with Product Managers, Functional Analysts, and Architects to design and specify new features from the engineering standpoint
Embrace and use state-of-the-art technologies
Author internal tools that improve team quality and productivity
Contribute to a positive, solution-focused, and creative team spirit
Work closely with Software Engineers to optimize the design, quality, and functionality of the product backend

Requirements

What you’ll need

Mathematical background; understanding of vertex and matrix algebra is a plus
Object-oriented design, coding, and testing patterns
Excellent coding skills in C++
5+ years of industry experience designing, building, testing, and shipping software
Exceptional problem-solving skills
Ability to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Good influencing skills and ability to bring colleagues along with your vision
Good communication skills
Ability to collaborate and share knowledge in teams
Proficient in both written and spoken English
Python and JavaScript coding skills are appreciated but not required
