About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own end-to-end delivery of NICE Actimize SAM solutions, including design, development, configuration, implementation, and ongoing enhancements
Provide hands-on technical and functional leadership across Actimize SAM initiatives
Oversee solution architecture, technical design, integrations, and system performance
Ensure solutions meet business, regulatory, and operational requirements
Apply AML transaction monitoring, suspicious activity detection, and financial crime compliance knowledge
Partner with Compliance and business stakeholders to translate regulatory and business requirements into technical solutions
Support monitoring strategy, scenario configuration, tuning, optimization, and platform improvements
Lead, mentor, and guide Actimize developers and functional specialists
Establish delivery standards, review technical designs, and ensure high-quality implementation
Collaborate with business analysts, Compliance teams, technology stakeholders, and senior leadership
Leverage AI-powered tools and development assistants to improve engineering productivity, delivery speed, and solution quality
Identify opportunities to incorporate AI into development, testing, documentation, and delivery workflows
Manage project delivery, timelines, dependencies, and technical risks
Ensure adherence to development standards, testing practices, documentation, and release management processes
Drive continuous improvement in platform performance, scalability, and operational efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of experience in AML technology, financial crime compliance, or banking technology
5+ years of hands-on experience with NICE Actimize SAM (Suspicious Activity Monitoring)
Strong functional and technical expertise in Actimize SAM implementation, configuration, customization, and enhancements
Deep understanding of AML transaction monitoring, suspicious activity detection, monitoring scenarios, and regulatory requirements
Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and delivering complex AML technology initiatives
Experience working directly with Compliance, AML operations, and business stakeholders
Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Experience leveraging AI tools to improve software development, testing, and delivery processes is highly desirable
