About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build production hardware for compute, memory management, and high-speed connectivity
  • Develop reusable, parameterized Bluespec libraries that scale across the chip
  • Shape hardware architecture by exploring implementation tradeoffs with Bluespec and converging on optimal designs
  • Create innovative tooling for the hardware/software ecosystem to build correct, high-performance hardware faster
  • Deliver performant silicon RTL at the full-chip or subsystem level

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proficient in Haskell, including monads, typeclasses, higher-order functions, and do-notation
  • Strong willingness to quickly ramp up on Bluespec Haskell (BH)
  • Strong engineering fundamentals, including clean, well-tested, and well-documented code
  • Comfortable with build systems, version control, and CI workflows
  • Ability to perform job functions in compliance with U.S. export control laws without obtaining a license from U.S. export control authorities
  • Prior Bluespec experience is a bonus
  • Prior ASIC or FPGA hardware design experience is a bonus
  • Knowledge of clock domains, pipelining, state machines, synthesis, and timing closure is a bonus
  • Production Rust experience is a bonus
  • No prior hardware experience required if proficient in Haskell
