About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee the lifecycle of vendor agreements, non-disclosure agreements, statements of work, and supplier contracts
  • Safeguard MatX's business interests and reduce commercial and legal exposure
  • Streamline contract workflows and ensure compliance across supply chain activities
  • Serve as the primary bridge between Supply Chain, Sourcing, Engineering, and Legal
  • Manage end-to-end contract administration, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and executing MSAs, DSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and SLAs
  • Establish and maintain a centralized Contract Lifecycle Management system for audit readiness and record-keeping
  • Monitor contract milestones, renewal windows, pricing escalations, and performance obligations across major supply partners
  • Partner with Legal to implement standardized contract templates, negotiation playbooks, and risk assessment frameworks
  • Ensure supplier adherence to contractual terms, IP protection requirements, confidentiality guidelines, and regulatory standards
  • Resolve contractual disputes and non-conformance issues with Sourcing and Legal counsel

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in contract management, legal operations, or commercial contract administration in high-tech or high-volume manufacturing sectors
  • Deep understanding of commercial law concepts, contract terms, IP licensing, liability limits, and indemnity clauses
  • Hands-on experience deploying or administering CLM software platforms, such as DocuSign CLM
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities
  • Clear, assertive written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder management and contract redlining
  • Ability to thrive under tight timelines while balancing operational speed with legal compliance
  • Ability to perform job functions in compliance with U.S. export control laws without obtaining a license from U.S. export control authorities
