About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage construction projects for ongoing tenant improvements to the current office and improvements to future buildings
- Serve as the point of contact for property management regarding building operational issues
- Own building physical security, including patrols, infrastructure, policies, and training
- Scale the facilities and security teams
- Provide on-call support during off-hours for building emergencies
- Handle additional ad hoc responsibilities
- Partner with Workplace Operations, Security & IT, and People teams
- Own and build the facilities and physical security function, with responsibility for scaling it over time
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in facilities or property management, program management, security management, or related roles
- Demonstrated ability to own a function, respond well to feedback, and operate autonomously in a fast-moving environment
- Ability to communicate reasoning, options considered, and tradeoffs with substance and transparency
- Ability to move quickly, adapt, context-switch, reprioritize, and execute without complete definition
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Good judgment and ability to balance priorities
- Strong attention to detail
- Capacity to perform job functions in compliance with U.S. export control laws without obtaining a license from U.S. export control authorities
- U.S. export-control eligibility may require being a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. refugee or asylee, or another qualifying status
