About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Schedule and coordinate interviews across candidates, recruiters, hiring managers, and interview teams
- Coordinate virtual and onsite interview loops across multiple teams, interviewers, and time zones
- Serve as the primary candidate contact throughout the interview process
- Provide timely, clear, thoughtful, and professional candidate communication
- Ensure a highly responsive, world-class candidate experience
- Manage last-minute scheduling changes, interviewer conflicts, cancellations, and reschedules
- Track outstanding interview feedback and follow up with interview teams to keep hiring decisions moving
- Support recruiting events, projects, and other talent initiatives as needed
- Help improve recruiting processes as MatX grows
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1 to 3 years of experience in recruiting coordination, recruiting operations, or a similar role
- Experience ideally in a startup or high-growth environment
- Passion for candidate experience
- Excellent time management and ability to coordinate multiple candidates and interview processes simultaneously
- Comfortable handling uncertainty, changing priorities, and last-minute scheduling challenges
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proactive and comfortable taking ownership
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working with candidates, recruiters, engineers, hiring managers, and senior leadership
- Strong working knowledge of Ashby or a similar applicant tracking system
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential candidate information with discretion
- Ability to work from the Mountain View, CA office 3 days a week, Tuesday through Thursday
- Experience coordinating technical or engineering interviews is a bonus
- Experience supporting recruiting teams at an early-stage or rapidly growing company is a bonus
- Experience coordinating onsite interview loops and candidate travel is a bonus
- Experience supporting hardware, AI, semiconductor, or deep-tech recruiting is a bonus
- Experience improving recruiting processes, systems, templates, or workflows is a bonus
- Strong interest in AI technologies and trends is a bonus
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to work from the Mountain View office Tuesday through Thursday
