About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee Clinic Intake schedules weekly and daily to ensure clinics are staffed
- Support, guide, and provide ongoing training to Clinic Intake Specialists and Senior Clinic Intake Specialists
- Address Clinic Intake staff issues and concerns and communicate necessary follow-up to the RCM
- Conduct new Clinic Intake onboarding and training
- Identify training needs and development opportunities for subordinates
- Develop work schedules and assign duties to ensure efficiency
- Discuss job performance concerns with subordinates and work with HR to resolve problems
- Evaluate subordinate job performance and recommend appropriate personnel actions
- Ensure compliance with company Wage & Hour policy, including rest and meal breaks for non-exempt employees
- Frequently travel to clinics within Texas and other clinics in the region as needed
- Work onsite at brick-and-mortar clinic locations in Houston, TX and El Paso, TX, as well as remotely from home
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 3+ years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient in written and verbal communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and beginner knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to multitask and delegate
- Knowledge of HIPAA and security requirements
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Desire to assist wounded veterans with a caring, positive and patriotic attitude
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must currently and permanently reside in the Continental US
- Must live in or near a commutable distance to Houston, TX
- Only US Citizens or Green Card holders can be considered
- Internet speed of 20mbps or higher
- Wi-Fi or Category 5 or 6 ethernet connectivity to the home router
- Private work area and adequate power source
