About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage all Microsoft Fabric dataflows and pipelines, minimizing downtime and failures
- Establish and maintain API connections and external data integrations
- Create standardized error reporting
- Manage resource allocation and capacity management within Azure
- Work alongside AI Specialists to ensure data is structured, governed, and optimized for AI and machine learning workloads
- Help optimize data access and usability for Data Engineers and BI Specialists
- Document processes, configurations, and operational best practices
- Work closely with Data Engineers, BI Analysts, and AI Specialists to scale and operate an AI-ready data warehouse infrastructure
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in a database, data engineering, or analytics role
- Elevated understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts
- Proficiency with SQL, Python, Spark, etc.
- Strong knowledge of cloud data platforms and modern ETL/ELT tools
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new tools and technologies in a fast-evolving environment
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric preferred
- Familiarity with Azure services (e.g., Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Factory) preferred
- Exposure to other Microsoft data tools such as Power BI, SQL Server, and SSMS preferred
