About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support cross-functional engineering efforts using system-level understanding of products and technologies
  • Align software, hardware, and product requirements and targets across the ADK 6.0 program
  • Own systems integration and validation activities
  • Define and develop metrics verifying system and subsystem requirements
  • Create and maintain technical system and subsystem requirement specifications
  • Analyze stakeholder, product, and safety requirements
  • Support system design and assess impact and conformance to requirements
  • Collaborate with test and validation teams to define verification criteria
  • Review legacy requirements for completeness and correctness
  • Negotiate and resolve cross-functional trade-offs and conflicts
  • Streamline interfaces between system architects, controls, and OEM platform partners
  • Evaluate industry and regulatory requirements
  • Perform FMEA analysis and track findings to resolution
  • Identify process gaps and propose solutions
  • Follow safe work procedures and report workplace hazards, injuries, and illness

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
  • 5+ years experience in automotive engineering working on software, hardware, or combined hardware/software products
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced work environment
  • Understanding of agile startup and engineering principles
  • Detailed knowledge of requirements management and requirement-based design
  • Demonstrated ability to lead system integration and validation across hardware and software domains
  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and drive alignment across cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Working knowledge of vehicle electrical/electronic architecture and in-vehicle networking
  • Strong working knowledge of ADAS/Autonomous Vehicle systems
  • Standard office working conditions, including prolonged sitting, standing, and computer use
  • Moderate travel required: 5%-15%
