About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate service delivery of the Firm’s talent programs
  • Support recruitment, conflict management, onboarding and integration, off-boarding, leaves and secondments, performance management, work allocation, compensation, partnership admission, mentor pairings and awards, law school liaison and student recruitment, law society filings, data collection, and engagement and social events
  • Manage calendars and schedule meetings
  • Prepare meeting materials and attend meetings where appropriate
  • Administer confidential files in OneDrive
  • Create and maintain intranet (espresso) pages
  • Identify Professional Resources processes, tasks, and project improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Professional Resources Group team and Firm members to improve processes
  • Learn and apply changes in technology, including AI, Workday, viGlobal, MS Teams, MS Forms, MS Bookings, SharePoint and Client Connect
  • Provide back-up support to the team
  • Provide other general support as required
  • Handle communications and requests from lawyers, professionals, and vendors in both English and French

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience, ideally gained in a professional services (or similar) environment
  • Fluent bilingualism in French and English required for Quebec Region
  • Excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional client service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage competing priorities
  • Flexibility to new ideas and frequent changes in priorities
  • May require flexible lunch hours and some evening work during heavy workload periods
