About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Pick, pack, and stage customer orders accurately and on time
  • Use RF scanners and vehicle-mounted computers to complete transactions
  • Operate material-handling equipment and industrial equipment, including motorized pallet jacks, push-off machines, wrappers, pallet flippers, and pallet dispensers
  • Use the computerized inventory system and document safety, quality, and performance standards
  • Perform general warehouse duties, including sanitation, required training, and audits
  • Attend team meetings, startup meetings, and complete special projects
  • Report to and work under the general supervision of the Warehouse Team Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong work ethic, solid technical skills, and logistics experience
  • Accurate clerical and numerical skills
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow complex procedures
  • Ability to learn to operate motorized pallet jacks and battery charging systems
  • Ability to work against continuously measured performance standards
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work overtime frequently or on short notice, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more continuously
  • Ability to work in fluctuating indoor and outdoor temperatures
  • Ability to execute the SAP inventory program using provided job aids
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions
  • Basic PC experience
  • Regular onsite attendance required
  • Prior PIT experience, including motorized pallet jack, reach truck, sit-down forklift, and turbine truck preferred
  • Understanding and execution of problem-solving skills; knowledge of Six Sigma preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in order selection, warehousing, or inventory preferred
  • SAP knowledge preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience preferred
