About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Implement change and project management programs impacting Q&R and/or R&D organizations
  • Accelerate delivery, engagement, capability, and adoption of ways of working, systems, processes, and business priorities
  • Develop, maintain, and audit employee skills, requirements, and developmental activities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and resolve performance gaps
  • Standardize communication, prioritization, implementation, and progress tracking of programs
  • Create comprehensive change and project plans supporting strategic objectives
  • Communicate organizational goals, changes, and initiatives to stakeholders at all levels
  • Build relationships to secure understanding, buy-in, and support for change initiatives
  • Lead prioritized Q&R and/or R&D integration and technical opportunities through preparation, management, and reinforcement phases
  • Guide employees and leaders through change and promote adaptability and resilience
  • Lead identification, development, and utilization of technical skills, competencies, behaviors, and requirements
  • Plan for transformation, current and future roles, succession, organizational design, and new competencies
  • Partner with technical leaders, Communities of Practice, and learning organizations
  • Lead and partner on HR/OE toolkits, tools, playbooks, standards, and strategies
  • Consult with PMO, CMO, SC, and CoE and internal/external stakeholders
  • Support JTE and Quality Culture alignment and standardization
  • Facilitate classroom-based training as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant Sciences discipline (ChemE, Food Science, IE, Biology), Instructional Systems Design, or Organizational Design and Effectiveness
  • 5+ years of experience with change and leading initiatives
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage resources for successful project completion
  • Ability to hold sites/teams accountable for adopting new processes or behaviors
  • Ability to evaluate and coach sites/teams on projects
  • Ability to inspire teams, sponsor desired change, mitigate resistance, and remove barriers
  • Ability to evaluate and manage external consultants and partners
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels
  • Ability to multitask and manage demands across numerous projects and client groups
  • Ability to create clear, concise, and convincing communications and presentations
  • Ability to translate training, development, and organizational strategy into action
  • Understanding of emotional intelligence, trends, culture, and motivation
  • Ability to align and modulate priorities across functions
  • Food industry knowledge and experience
  • Ability to analyze loss data and focus improvement efforts
  • Flexible and adaptable in an ambiguous, high-change environment
  • Excellent consulting, business acumen, project management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
