About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create integrations between iKnowMed G2 and practice laboratory information systems
  • Assist practices in cleaning up lab analytes and panels in iKnowMed G2
  • Work with the USON clinical applications team and/or LIS vendors to assist practices in cleaning up their LIS environments
  • Scope, configure, test, and maintain laboratory system interfaces
  • Monitor integration performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain operational continuity
  • Speak with laboratory technicians and laboratory vendors to understand laboratory environments, tests, operations, and lab codes
  • Educate and train clinical practices on mapping techniques and system integrations
  • Manage multiple active projects in parallel

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree or equivalent and typically 4+ years of relevant experience
  • 4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • MLT, MLS or CLS required
  • 4+ years of experience working in a clinical laboratory
  • 2+ years of experience working with laboratory information systems (e.g. Orchard, Labdaq)
  • Knowledge of HL7 interfaces
  • Knowledge of CLIA/CAP requirements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to understand functional design specifications and technical requirements
  • Ability to work in team environment in the configuration and testing of system integrations
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation skills)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Experience working in oncology environments
  • Experience working with iKnowMed G2 preferred
  • Experience working with hospital EHRs (Epic, Cerner, Allscripts)
  • Ability to assist in the creation of project plans
  • If located in the DFW area, may be expected to work on-site at the Las Colinas office a minimum of two days per week
