About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead large-scale cloud migrations and enterprise infrastructure transformations
Lead carve-outs, M&A integrations, and other high-complexity infrastructure programs
Direct infrastructure engineering across network, cloud, database, and storage domains
Design and lead migration wave programs across distribution centers, warehouses, campuses, and other multi-site physical environments
Lead and manage diverse infrastructure and cloud engineering teams
Oversee a portfolio of multiple projects and global transformation programs
Manage firewall design and policy migration, identity and access management, encryption, DDoS protection, intrusion detection, and compliance initiatives
Provision cloud resources using Terraform and integrate infrastructure deployments with CI/CD pipelines
Manage observability, incident management, and problem management aligned with ITIL
Lead stakeholders and educate them on the role and purpose of data in the business
Collaborate with technical teams, business leaders, and external partners
Lead teams through organizational and technology change

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven track record leading large-scale cloud migrations or enterprise infrastructure transformations, including carve-outs, M&A integrations, or equivalent high-complexity programs
Direct experience with GCP infrastructure or equivalent AWS/Azure with demonstrated GCP transition capability
Broad infrastructure expertise across network engineering, cloud architecture, database management, and storage systems
Experience designing and leading migration wave programs across multi-site physical environments
Knowledge of ITIL and IT Service Management
Proven ability to lead and manage diverse teams
Degree or equivalent experience
Typically requires 12+ years of professional experience
4+ years of management experience
Expert-level network design knowledge, including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, MPLS, BGP, VPN, cloud networking, QoS, and Zero Trust
GCP expertise including VPC, Shared VPC, Cloud Interconnect, Cloud VPN, Cloud Router, Cloud NAT, Cloud DNS, Cloud Armor, VPC Service Controls, Network Intelligence Center, GKE, Cloud Run, and Apigee
Database and storage experience with Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, and Cloud SQL
Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, and GCP-native data storage patterns
Knowledge of database migration strategies
Security expertise including firewall design and policy migration, IAM, encryption, DDoS protection, intrusion detection, and compliance frameworks
Terraform experience for cloud resource provisioning
Git-based infrastructure change management
CI/CD pipeline integration for infrastructure deployments
Observability experience with Cloud Monitoring, VPC Flow Logs, Cloud Trace, SolarWinds, Grafana, or equivalent
ITIL-aligned incident and problem management experience
Awareness of IoT device network management, edge computing, container networking, and service mesh fundamentals
Experience overseeing a portfolio of multiple projects
Experience leading large-scale global transformation programs
Strong change-management capability
Experience with data in drug supply chain and commercial healthcare or pharma is a plus
