About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and direct the Revenue Cycle Management financial planning, forecasting, and performance-management strategy
  • Own and execute high-priority or highly complex forecasts, models, analyses, and deliverables
  • Advise RCM Operations and Finance executives on choices, risks, opportunities, tradeoffs, and recommended actions
  • Build and maintain an integrated framework connecting financial, operational, and practice outcomes
  • Analyze revenue, collections, cash flow, accounts receivable aging, denials, bad debt, contractual discounts, reserves, and cost-to-collect drivers
  • Lead practice-level and enterprise scenario analyses connecting operational performance to cash, revenue, expense, and Adjusted Operating Profit outcomes
  • Develop business cases and scenario models for RCM transformation programs, including investment requirements, benefit sizing, prioritization, tracking, and value realization
  • Provide financial leadership for billing-platform transitions, process redesign, automation, AI-enabled initiatives, and strategic programs
  • Lead annual planning, periodic forecasting, long-range planning, and executive business reviews
  • Create, review, and deliver executive presentations, financial models, and written performance commentary
  • Set standards for reporting, dashboarding, data governance, model documentation, automation, and self-service capabilities
  • Provide FP&A oversight of month-end close topics, accruals, reserve positions, reconciliations, variances, and risk escalation
  • Partner with Accounting and Controllership to improve reconciliation, documentation, controls, issue resolution, and practice-level visibility
  • Manage, coach, and develop the Senior Manager, Revenue Cycle Management FP&A
  • Lead cross-functional workstreams and foster a collaborative, inclusive, accountable culture
  • Operate as a player-coach balancing strategic leadership with hands-on close, forecasting, modeling, reporting, and executive decision support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent related experience
  • Typically 12+ years of progressive finance, FP&A, accounting, or related analytical experience
  • 4+ years of management responsibility/experience
  • Experience leading planning, forecasting, performance reporting, financial modeling, and executive decision support in a complex organization
  • Experience partnering with senior business and finance leaders across multiple functions and influencing outcomes without relying solely on formal authority
  • Experience with healthcare services, revenue cycle management, provider economics, accounts receivable, revenue and reserve analytics, or practice finance strongly preferred
  • Experience leading transformation business cases, investment analysis, financial governance, and performance tracking preferred
  • Advanced hands-on financial modeling, scenario analysis, forecasting, variance investigation, and performance-management capabilities
  • Strong understanding of income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, revenue, reserves, and working-capital drivers
  • Executive communication and presence, including presentations, written commentary, and data visualization
  • People leadership, coaching, prioritization, delegation, and talent development
  • Cross-functional partnership, change leadership, conflict resolution, and stakeholder alignment
  • Digital fluency, scalable reporting, dashboarding, automation, and responsible use of AI-enabled tools
  • Strong judgment, attention to detail, ownership, adaptability, and comfort operating through ambiguity
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required
  • Experience with enterprise planning, ERP, business intelligence, and data platforms such as Essbase, SAP, Power BI, Tableau, or comparable tools preferred
  • MBA, CPA, CMA, or other relevant advanced credential preferred
